PRESERVE LICENSE PROGRAM

CHHP's preserve license program is the way for the dedicated hunter to secure a hunting heritage for himself and  his family. This program assures you, the hunter, of a guaranteed place to hunt during a six-month season, in excellent habitat, with an abundance of game birds, and in uncrowded hunting zones. The many activities of the preserve license program are noted herein.

The one-time initiation fee, annual maintenance fee, and additional program details will be provided upon your visit to CHHP.

HUNTING SEASONS
Pheasant, Chukar, Valley Quail and Mallard Duck
October 4, 2008 - March 8, 2009
(Valley Quail and Mallard Duck closing date based on the availability of  those birds)

Hunting

Reservation must be made in advance
Bird processing available

Dog rentals available upon request

Open six days a week - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Breakfast & Lunch 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Closed Tuesdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Requested Hunts
Reserves private field for entire hunt
Released birds on pre-punch basis (minimum 10 birds)
Reservations must be made in advance

PHEASANTS:
October 4, 2008 to January 31, 2009 - every shoot day
February 1, 2009 to February 29, 2009 - week days only

CHUKAR & QUAIL:
All season based on availability
Reservations must be made in advance

Bird cards, along with a copy of the rules and regulations, must be picked up at the Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve Clubhouse on the hunter's first hunt of the season.

STATE HUNTING LICENSE & UPLAND GAME STAMP REQUIRED

Pick up activities calendar at clubhouse

Bird Cards will not be mailed out

Blaze Orange must be worn in field

State and Federal duck stamps are not required

Steel shot required for water fowl

All sales are final. No refunds or carry overs.
